About Me
Because we’re all people, not just job titles — here’s a glimpse behind mine.
I’m a colourful maximalist who believes contrast is more interesting than blending in. I’ve lived and worked across Australia, Canada, and the UK, and that global experience has shaped how I understand people, behaviour, and culture. I also grew up in French immersion and hold my French bilingual certificate, so everything I learned in school came through another language first, which probably explains why I’m comfortable holding more than one perspective at a time.
Before advertising, I trained vocationally as a ballet dancer and taught dance, which gave me a deep respect for craft, discipline, and practice — and taught me how to coach, give feedback, and help people grow with clarity and empathy. These days, I’ve swapped the barre for reformer Pilates and CrossFit, and it turns out all those people who say moving your body is great for your mental health are absolutely right.
I’ve always loved writing and the way it creates connection. When I lived in Canada and Australia, I wrote for prominent craft beer publications alongside my agency roles, which became a way to build community around shared curiosity and passion — especially among women. When you’re making big international moves, using writing as a way to meet people, find your place, and create belonging is incredibly grounding. And yes, I’ve been using em dashes for nearly two decades, long before anyone decided that was “AI writing.”
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with my partner and our mini dachshund, Chai (I’m a third-generation dachshund owner, so you could say it was meant to be), hunting down great craft beer, supporting local designers, or travelling — my travel magnet collection is at 56 and counting!
For me, curiosity isn’t a hobby, it’s how I stay culturally fluent, creatively energised, and open to seeing things from new angles. All of these experiences quietly shape how I work: calm under pressure, collaborative by default, and deeply invested in helping people do their best thinking.
